“So, what do you guys REALLY want to do for summer vacation?” Asked Elena and Ellie’s dad.
Elena and Ellie were twins. Elena had strawberry blond hair and was very shy and quiet. Ellie, on the other hand, had dirty blond hair and was very cheerful. Most people didn’t believe they were twins.
Elena and Ellie both answered, “Science Museum!” Their parents laughed and agreed that going to a science museum would be very educational. The Greener family all went to the car. Off they went. Once they finally got their, the two kids ran to the entrance.
Light gleamed on the Museum’s windows. The structure was in a cylinder like shape and on top of the huge building stood tons of people taking photos of the magnificent view. Both girls were wondering what it felt like to be so high up.
“Girls? Girls! You with me?” Mrs. Greener asked interrupting the twins thoughts.
“Huh? Oh! Yeah, we’re with you.” Ellie answered.
When the family walked into the museum, the first thing they saw was a huge map of the building.
“Hmm… It might be fun to see the, ‘Why is our family, our family?’ section. It’s supposed to tell you about your family stuff and why you were - ” Said Mr. Greener.
“Umm… Not to be rude, but, I think we already know that.” Elena interrupted.
“First of all, Please don’t interrupt your father. Second of all, that’s because now you’re going to learn more about it.” Replied Elena and Ellie’s mom.
The Greener family walked up a set of stairs and they were in the room.
“You two can go explore, but you must stay around here. Your father and I will go to the restroom. ” Mrs. Greener told her children. Elena and Ellie nodded and their parents walked away. Ellie pointed to a door that said, “scientists only” and looked at Elena. Elena knew that her sister was thinking to go in there and said, “Well, we are scientists. Right Ellie?” Ellie smiled and walked to the door with Elena. When Elena opened the door, the two kids ran to a weird looking dome and closed the door. Beep! Beeeeep! And finally the machine went off.

“You two are not classified as sisters” a voice continued, “The one with the blue eyes has a family. The other, does not.” The two kids heard footsteps and ran out of the room.
“That’s me! I’m the one with the blue eyes! Oh, I’m so sorry Ellie, but, it kind of makes sense. You never really seemed to fit in” Blurted Elena.
“Humph. I don’t belong here, I should run away.” Ellie answered.
Before Elena could answer, their parents walked in and commented, “What do you mean, you don’t belong here?”
Elena explained the whole thing and Mrs. Greener and Mr. Greener fell silent. “Okay, I’ll tell you everything, if you guys promise not to go somewhere you’re not allowed to.” Mr. Greener looked at both girls and continued, “We found Ellie in an orphanage. You were only three years old. Elena was three too, and she started playing with you. We decided to adopt you and pretend you two were twins. Well now, you know the truth. ” Ellie cried and ran down the staircase. After that, there was no saying where she could be. Elena started crying too and kept on murmuring, “This was all my fault. I should have not let her go there. This all my fault -”
“No, it’s not your fault. You know even if you didn’t let her go Ellie would still do it.” Mrs. Greener interrupted.
Elena answered, “I wish Ellie was here.”
Ellie, in the middle of the forest said, “I wish Elena was here.”
The End
